Credentialed Cooperative Director
Rowdy Holmsley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Range Science from Abilene Christian University, and is a fifth-generation rancher in Southwest Crockett County. He started operating his home ranch in 1990. Holmsley and his wife, Jennifer, are the proud parents of a daughter, Connor. Rowdy served on the Member Advisory Committee for his area prior to being elected to the board. He says he is most proud of Rio Grande Electric Cooperative (RGEC) for its attitude towards helping its members. His goal as a director is to keep reliable service at reasonable rates, and he believes that the biggest challenge the co-op faces today is maintaining competitive prices. Rowdy currently serves on the RGEC Bylaws, Finance, and Redistricting board committees.
