Rio Grande Electric Cooperative has been an integral part of Jamie’s family for four generations. Both Jamie’s father and husband served on RGEC’s Board of Directors in past years. She and her husband, Jimmy, have been in the ranching business in Kinney County for over forty years. They have three grown children and six grandchildren. A graduate of Texas Tech University, Jamie taught Mathematics at Brackett High School for many years before retiring in 2016. Jamie feels the Co-op faces unique opportunities and challenges, due to its vast territory. Always improving member service and communication are some of her top priorities.
