While in the course of the day’s work, one of the Alpine crews, consisting of Groundman Aaron Frost, Journeyman Line Foreman Joe Rodriguez, and Groundman Saul Ordoñez-Estrada, recently happened upon an overturned tanker truck. The emergency responders at the scene needed a jack to help lift the weight of the truck, in order to free the driver, who was pinned in the wreckage, and asked if they could use the Co-op’s jack. While emergency personnel were freeing the driver, Rio Grande Electric Cooperative’s crewmen directed traffic and assisted with getting supplies to the rescue workers.
