The Member Involvement Survey will be included in this month’s billing statement and will be emailed to those who receive their statement electronically. Consider putting your leadership skills to use by serving in a leadership position for the Rio Grande Electric Cooperative (RGEC). As a member-owned organization, it is your right and your responsibility to participate in the governance of RGEC. There are several opportunities to serve -- Advisory Committees, Nominating Committees, and Board of Directors.
Just indicate in what capacity you are willing to be involved. As an added incentive, 1 member who returns a completed survey by the February 1 deadline will receive a credit of $200 on their account. This is done by conducting a drawing from among all completed surveys received by the deadline.
New this year, is the addition of the Member Advisory Committee Application form, which will accompany the Member Involvement Survey. Due to changes in the structure of the Member Advisory Committees, they will meet only 1-time each year, unless conditions warrant meeting more frequently.
Those who receive their bill electronically will receive a separate email containing the survey and a link to the Member Advisory Committee Application. Those who get paper bills, will receive a mailing insert containing the survey and application. The Member Advisory Committee Application form is also available at www.riogrande.coop. Just select “About Us” from the menu tab, and “Member Advisory Committees” from the sub-menu. The application can be accessed under the “Interested in Serving” title.
Regardless of which way you receive your survey, be sure to complete it and return to RGEC by the 2/1/24 deadline to be entered in the drawing for a $200 Account Credit!
