Journeyman Lineman Joe Cruz of Carrizo Springs retired January 5 after 37 years of service to the Co-op and its members.
Co-workers, retirees, and his family members joined Joe at a local Carrizo Springs restaurant to celebrate the event.
An avid hunter and welder, the room was decorated to reflect these interests, which Joe hopes to have the time to pursue in his retirement.
In addition to his hobbies, he plans to spend more time with his granddaughter, Camelea, and looks forward to being able to attend more of her functions, as she makes her way through the school years.
