How to Participate:
Download the current version of Zoom from Zoom's download page. You will select Desktop Client from the choices. If you are viewing from your mobile phone or iPad, download the appropriate version from the App Store or Google Play.
Registration opens Monday, October 2, at 8 a.m. CDT on emPOWER page or by scanning the QR code on this page. Registering prior to this time is not possible.
The first 50 to register and who log in and virtually attend the meeting will receive a prize.
Registration for prize eligibility ends Friday, October 13 at 1 p.m. CDT. You can still register to view the meeting after 1 p.m., but you will not be eligible for prizes.
Complete the registration form. Your 8 or 9 digital account number is required. Remember to click the blue “Register” button at the bottom to submit the form.
After verification of eligibility, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to view the meeting. This email will come from the zoom.us domain. (The domain is the portion of the email address after the @ sign.) You can add this domain to your safe senders list now to ensure you receive the link to the meeting. We suggest you flag this email for easy location on the morning of the meeting.
Saturday, October 14, access the link in the confirmation email from the zoom.us domain mentioned above to view the emPOWER Summit, Rio Grande Electric Cooperative (RGEC)’s 78th Annual Meeting. We recommend you log in a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the 10 a.m. start of the meeting, to view the procedures, check your connections, and volume, locate the “chat” feature, etc.
Saturday, October 14 Checklist:
- A confirmation email with a link to join the meeting
- RGEC account number for chatting in to claim prizes
- Favorite morning beverage & snack!
